Instead of a "no later than" date, we have a "no earlier than" rumor, which is later than we originally thought. Fuck.
Oh and they may send him right to WLC once he's back in the states which would add a couple weeks until we get him home. Double fuck.

Sorry to hear that. Don't listen to the talk, I'm sure you know how fast the "rumor mill" spins. Wait until something is official before you let it bring you down. 
As for WLC, it sucks, he'll hate it as well (trust me), but it's good career advancement, which is good for both of you... Try and do something to take your mind off of it. Like I tell my wife, go out and buy some new shoes and get your nails done, something fun! It always (usually) helps her...
