My birthday is Thursday.
Guess what my husband is getting me.
A HOUSE! Fuck yeah.
We are in the process of buying a house. We are scheduled to close on the 12th then we will move in on the 22nd after Mike is done with his 2 weeks of annual training with the Guard. Same fucking thing happened last year, he left for 2 weeks while I packed and we moved within a couple days of him coming home. Pain in the ass! But 2 weeks is plenty of time to pack everything but nonessentials and mostly clean.
Then Mike's birthday is on the 23rd. Guess what he gets. A house.
Life is good. The kids are still crazy, the house is never clean, I am still head over heels in love and about to get my very own house to decorate.
