My family is so fucking dysfunctional.
An off hand comment about being glad I'm not living in the same state as the mess started up even more family drama on facebook. If I wasn't related to them, it would be hilarious. My poor poor husband has married into a looney bin.
I want to vent about the whoooooole thing but it would require a serious back story spanning over the last 10 years with an extra 20 tacked on from "family stories". So I'll skip that.
The latest tidbit is the queen of the drama wants my support. Her soon to be ex husband was having an affair, okay that really sucks. The divorce has just been filed last month and my cousin is now engaged to a man 20 years older than her. Because this man has money, my cousin kicked my grandpa who by the way is DYING OF CANCER out of her house because she doesn't need his money anymore, mostly because he threw a fit (which he does) about her new guy's age. Now my grandpa is moping saying that he'll just live with my brother not going to doctor's appointments or cemo anymore and just stay there until he dies. My cousin was then offended by my comment on facebook. Um, yeah.
This is the only safe place, my family has hooks in my facebook and I'm sure they read my other blogs. Here I am spreading family drama but it's on my mind. I am grateful not to live in the Land of the Drama anymore and I got out when I was young enough to be sheltered from it when I was there. Imagine the christmas letters that would be sent every year if we were all honest.
