So yesterday my mother took my truck to get the oil changed and the tires rotated (since I worked yesterday and she didn't). They found out my front brake pads were almost worn out. So my little $15-20 bill ended up being $148.68.

Saw Batman Begins after work today. It's growing on me. I still think it was a little too long and had a few flaws. Between comics books and cartoons and tv shows and movies, how many versions of the beginnings of Batman do we need? I mean this is a pretty good one, but James Bond movies or whatever don't all start at the beginning. And honestly if Katie Homes' nipples hadn't been erect in most of her scenes, I wouldn't have paid much attention to her. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman were excellent in supporting roles. The villains were pretty good, but it's nice to see a Batman movie where Batman is the star. It's no surprise that there is opening at the end for a sequel. And you have to think that if Christian Bale returns that it would be a good sequel.

I ate Chinese food at the mall and bought a small stereo and the Finding Neverland dvd at Sears after the movie.
