I don't know what to say about the World Cup final.
The PK early on was a bit of a fluke. The guy didn't really go down from the contact, but the defender could have avoided the contact. Brilliant shot by Zizou though.
Zidane definitely deserved to be booked for the headbutt, but the officials clearly didn't see it. You can't call what you don't see. No one was even aware the guy was down for a while. And the assistant suddenly remembers seeing a foul after it was replayed in the stadium? How convenient.
Ten PKs and no saves. I feel sorry for the French guy that missed. I was hoping Buffon or Barthez would make a save to take some of the pressure off of him.
Italy did play well. Congrats to them. Amazing defensive display throughout the tourney.
