the reunion went well enough! i'm so proud that i didn't go back for seconds...of meats and veggies, of course i went back for seconds of desserts! i spent part of the day answering to my uncle's and grandfather's names, which okay cuz i can't remember hardly anybody's names, much less who's a relative and who's an inlaw or how anybody's related! a brief example...

Your journal has just inspired me to read 'Mick and Keith', which has been sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be opened for a while. Good job that man. Sounds like you had a good one at the reunion. I always find family stuff pretty daunting but it's always a good ol time when you actually get there.

I'm planning on having zero social life until the end of August now when I'm off to Amsterdam for a stag do (I guess you guys would call it a bachelor party). I think I'll save my weary bones til then.
