Quite true, Chaz. Sometimes this place is very hostile, and I am rather concerned about it. This current batch of vitriol is likely to die down over time, but it's worrisome.

I guess I should really update the Survivor Thread before people start calling for my head. tongue

meredith:
uhm well, i wouldn't vote for bush but for kerry if i lived in america as i think bush is only a troublemaker who plays with the lives of the people and makes wars here and there, with no dignity...
plus he's known to be a robber... so...
with bush only rich people could survive, as he's gonna cut all the public services there are there in US...
this is a bit of what i think...

there in US you had a chance to turn out things better... don't complain if you have bin laden out of your door...

could i know why you would have voted for bush? what's the reason? what have he made for you and your people?
meredith:
well, your answer is quite better than many other i have heard like 'i voted bush cause he's a christian man, cause he is a man of god' and bullshit like this... although i can't understand this: 'i voted bush cause kerry hasn't give us good ideas of what his job will have to do'...
here in italy we didn't hear any speech neither from bush nor from kerry but we all know there are differences between the two politicians....at least, if you know what bush did in these 4 years and if you didn't like how he acted, you could have given a chance to kerry, that have fought for *you* in vietnam...
bush can only send his soldiers here and there and steal steal steal... plus i think bush is too close... he want to eliminate gay marriages, he's racist and stuff...
at least kerry is more open...

don't be mad at me, we are just talkin but i think you're quite politically indifferent... frown

Happy Halloween everyone!!!
Okay, so I didn't see "Saw" yesterday, I saw "Saw" today. A pretty good, but hard to describe movie. Anybody want to guess which actor from the movie I've met?
I can't decide on a sign of the day for yesterday. There were two good choices. "Shoplifting is Bad Karma" and "Peliculas para Adoltos". biggrin
Then of course last night , there was...

It is rather unfortunate that your thread is sputtering at the moment; I would have expected it to be going rather well. If you like, I'll jump in and try my hand at it.

I liked your bit about the trick-or-treaters stumbling on to the island, although it kind of puts an end to the idea that their location is secret. Oh well.

I've got to update the Survivor Thread before randumb has me assassinated, and hopefully I'll think of something for your thread.

If I didn't know you, I'd say that you hate Canadians...what exactly is wrong with Paul Schaffer?

I think my plans for today are shaping up. I'll go see "Saw" (I'll probably be saying see "Saw" and saw "Saw alot! tongue ), and brouse the mall. Get a bite to eat. Go to Tattletale (Hint they could call it TattleTAIL. wink ). Then head off to the Brouhaha to see Jet and the Donnas. biggrin
Though I do sense plan altering drama in the wind....

Glad to hear that the show went well, and I look forward to seeing pictures.

It's the same with the theatres in my area. I have three or four that aren't too far away from me, but the shows either start an hour or so before I get home from work, or they start at a ridiculously late hour. It sucks!

Yeah, aren't I just the coolest? tongue

First things first. Give a hug or a kind word to BrookeLynne. She's had a run of bad luck.

The Amazingly Shitty Workweek is over! Yay! Hip hip hoorah! biggrin

Check out the comic strip "Pearls Before Swine" this week. I keep forgetting to get the link. tongue

Patience pays off. I finally found the new Donnas cd today at KMart and also found a Japanese...

I haven't heard that song for a while - but I have a Violent Femmes compliation CD...odd, is it not?

I've been listening to The Stills lately. They're a fairly new (!) band, but their stuff is great. I highly recommend them.

Perhaps I shall post some of their lyrics in my next entry.
radiofrank:
Excellent.

I should probably get some sleep; I have to go to fucking work tomorrow. mad

Have a great night a good Saturday.

Ever spent several hours by yourself in a funeral home at night? wink (note: this question not for Sicily wink wink )
radiofrank:
No, I can't say that I have done anything like that...and I can only imagine what Sicily would have to say about it.

For the record, the word "moose" can be used in both a singular and plural fashion. So there. tongue

i would probably freak out and die of paranoia that i was going to die.
i think i've been watching to many horror movies lately with dead japanese people floating around.

Another shitty day. I meant to take a few pics of me using an old timey freight elevator, but the job was a hassle and I forgot. I do love old elevators though. I only worked 7 hours, but that just made me lose my hour of overtime. I go in at 1 PM tomorrow, so I don't know how long I'll work. The only...

It hasn't been good. First, last night I was writing a check to put in the mail when I realized I don't have as much extra money as I thought. Second, I had my closest almost wreck ever (I've had a couple of fender benders). I was in the left lane going to work. Slow vehicles in front of me in both lanes. I get...

While SG was down, I Googled myself ( blush It sounds so bad!) and found that Sophie's profile page and my pic page were links on a porn site! confused I guess it's not to bad to be on Sweet's fuck places list, but I'm not sure.

Must I always be at a crossroads? I see where I'm at financially, emotionally, etc, figure out where I want to be, plot a course, and ... trainwreck. Maybe if I'd keep my boat off of the roads I wouldn't hit the trains! tongue But yeah that's the story of my life. Never where I want to be (metaphorically) and never quite on the path to...
