Hello folks, so seeing as its the heart of the political season I wanted to throw in my two cents.
Im voting Obama. I am a independant and really dont know enough on either party to say whos I would really fall into but lets sum it up this way, im pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, I think iraq is a disaster, off shore drilling is not a solution, neither is drilling alaska. Now when W got elected his second term I told many republicans thanks you just put hillary in the white house and well they nearly did, I liked her at first but as the election things heated up last year I quickly lost interest in her views and tactics. Now let me start with the McCain/Palin ticket. If you somehow feel they will do this country any good please inform me. I dont see it, I see an old man who has had cancer and a cut throat small town woman with more skeletons in her closet than W or Nixon. Now look I do realize that some of Obama's success so far is due to his "celebrity" but ya know what the man has more passion than you can shake a stick at. Joe Biden could step in at need be and I would still feel safe. Michelle Obama was critized that she hadnt loved her country in a while and ya know what, I can easily say that I have not been all that proud to call myself an American over the last few years either. Here is to November(my birthday is in that month so its a pretty awesome month
) and change.
And really everyone should start getting informed, watch the debates and VOTE this fall
