i got tired of being home friday night so i decided to go shoot the salton sea the next day.
emilio and i took off early in the morning, around 430 so we could catch dawn.
we made it there just in the knick of time! i dont know what it is but theres something about that place that just makes me mellow out. i took over 200 pictures and theres a few that dont need any touching up.
i shot a roll and a half on velvia 100f but completely forgot that i had the light meter set up for the 400 film i had in the hasselblad. those pictures are totally fucked, im gonna send them out tomorrow and wait and see how they turn out.

we drove out to cabazon after the sea and snapped some shots of the dinosaurs there and kept on driving north a bit and then straight shot it to Laguna Niguel. we stayed the night there and drove up to santa monica and snapped some more shots on the pier. i really wanted to drive up to san francisco but emilio was flaking out and it would have sucked just driving up there for a little while and not knowing what to do there. ill have plenty of time to look up info on it while waiting to get the jeep. i fucking tired now.
