The world today lacks quite a lot. No one is willing to accept responsibility for their own lives. Everything wrong with them or their lifestyle is always someone else's fault. "Mcdonald's made me fat." No one said you have to eat at Mcdonald's four meals a day seven days a week, now did they? "I'm poor." Well what are you doing about that? have you looked into other jobs? Ever thought about improving your education? Do you even have a job? "No one will hire me." How hard have you tried to get a job? Or, is a minimum wage job beneath you?
If America is the land of the free, why does the government impose so many regulations on personal freedoms? I can understand laws protecting the general public, but policies that affect individual rights I can't understand. I'm not a liberal or a conservative, I'm a constitutionalist. I believe the government has taken to many personal liberties from the people, by creating unnecessary or limiting laws. The people and the government need to be reminded that elected officials work for the public. when people complain about the way things are being run I ask, "Did you vote?. To which many people say "no". If you don't vote you've got no right to complain. If you don't like how the current politicians run things vote for a different politician. Or, here's a radical option run for political office yourself.
