having been single and celibate for roughly four years, has provided insight into relationships, people, and the drama that surrounds them. first and foremost there is no gender bias as to the pervasiveness of promiscuous behavior. both genders behave similarly under the same conditions. then there is the contradictory nature of the people that complain about the state of their relationship.
starting with the male of the species that complains of "being friend-zoned" or feels the need to constantly bleat like a lonely sheep that he is a "nice guy". the reason for these two being categorized together is often these traits are found together. these people are often "friend-zoned" because they lack the initiative to make the first move. then when the target of their affection relegates them to the "FZ" for someone that has a negative reputation. they proceed to cry the anthem of the "nice guy". here is the truth about these individuals, the feel the need to tell everybody about their "nice guy" status. they are actually vultures, jackals, and other various scavengers. that are waiting for someone to give up, roll over, and surrender to them.
now to the females. to the ladies that feel the need to gripe about their love lives or lack there of. do they ever stop to think that its their fault? really think about it. they have this idealized fantasy of their perfect mate, but continually date people that are the opposite of what they claim to want.
also how peoples head-games and drama affect the social and mental evolution of previous and present significant others. not fully realizing the fact that their behavior towards others causes these people to change for the worse. thus creating more people with negative personality traits.
so in keeping with this flow of brutal honesty we are directly responsible for the status of our romantic liaisons. lust is easy, you get aroused, then try and arrange a meeting of the genitalia. love, love is hard, its an arrangement of meetings including the mind, heart, and sometimes the genitalia.

And yet I still refuse. Not going to change who I am so someone can want to be with they think I am rather than who I am.
