Good evening y'all. I've been feeling a little pensive lately....thinking of the power of music and what it can do for a person's soul. If I need to think, if I need to forget my problems my iPod is my saviour and I'm sure that an awful lot of people feel the same.
I do, however, have a preference for dead musicians. This may seem morbid but allow me to explain : I feel as there are no musicians today that can say it any better than the likes of Kurt Cobain, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse....even Left Eye Lopes and Aaliah make my list due to my love of hip hop. Biggie and Tupac have a special place for me as I strongly believe that they're political lyrics were the cause of their deaths - fellow fans will know exactly where I'm coming from here.
Anyway I guess what I want to say is, whatever your personal musical tastes - MUSIC is a universal language. I leave you with some of my favourite quotes.
