We made it back from Sarasota last Tuesday night, and I had a sore butt and aching back from the trip. Sitting all cramped up in a Jimmy for 12 hours must not be my cup of tea!
I had fun at the fair, and as usual ran into several people I knew from other fairs. I even saw one of my old workmates from the bookstore in Portage, Mich., who was working in another booth. It is a small world!
We stayed in Bradenton, so we went to the beaches on the islands and saw the local tourist traps and sights. The weather was gorgeous the whole time, and I got a little surnburned. If it weren't for the crowding, a person wouldn't mind living down there. Too many people! I like to play my music loud!
For our booth, the fair was a modest success, and whether or not we will do it again next year depends on too many factors to be discussed here. However, I wouldn't mind doing it again. It was a nice break from this Michigan weather.

wow...i live on cortez in bradenton near the beach....sorry i missed the festival...was planning on going when all hell broke loose.....my ex wrecked my new car....my subscription to sg had to be renewed and there was a glitch getting it fixed....and work has been a bear.....was wanting to stop in and say hi......i know what you mean about the long ride(me with my boney ass)..glad you had a good time
