Alot of stuff on my mind.

My heart monitor came back ok. They said nothing to worry about there. When I asked about my MRI the nurse didn't know what I was talking about at first. She rifled through some papers and told me that I have an enlarged atrium and two enlarged ventricles. She couldn't seem to tell me what that meant, so I'm not sure if it is something to be concerned about. So that makes me concerned. I'm going to call back today.

I started moving to my new apartment today. It's only a few blocks away from here but I will live alone, which is what I want so hopefuly it will be happier. I like having my own space, I like having things where I like to have them. Like that little girl in my closet...

My boss was against my transfer to New York, but I'm getting a promotion for staying here so it all works out in the end, I suppose. Maybe Minneapolis truly holds my destiny.

I've been going through some changes lately. My ability to be assertive has gotten stronger. I don't feel as out of place and shy in unfamiliar situations as I did a year ago. I've found the ability to talk to people I don't know is coming easier to me. Albeit on a limited basis.

My sister had a baby this last Tuesday. I'm now an uncle. She is my only sibling and this is her first child. My parents are so proud to have a grandchild. They deserve it. They are the best this world has to offer when it comes to people. He was 8lbs 10oz. His name is Ian Thomas Fitzgerald. I don't have any pictures of him because I don't own a camera but he has my nose.

I'm pleased right now. The weather is nice. I love my neighborhood. Summer is around the corner and there truly is nothing better than summers in Minneapolis.

Perhaps 2006 will be the year to turn around the low times my life has gone through in the last few. Right now it just feels great to breathe in the fresh air.
