I'm up again at 7:30. A little less happy today, but that's only because I'm tired, but I'm still in a pretty damn good mood. WTF is that? I am NOT a morning person this... this is just fucking odd.
Oh well, I digress.
We'll probably learn our fate today at work. I work for a major corporation that has a small project office on site for another major corporation..i.e. my customer. Well.. our office is up for bid. That means that other companies can come in and bid to our customer at a lower price for the business that we do for them. So.. start the bidding war. Fun huh?
In the long run, if we lose the bid, myself and the rest of my team will be done in 90 days. 90 days. 90 days. Holy crap. I could be unemployed by June. And yes, that sucks major donkey dong. But 90 days is a long time to find another job so things will probably be ok. I'm worried but have decided to take it one day at a time and see what happens.
Today will consist of running more numbers, creating financial pivot tables and preparing the monthly invoice that I will present to my customer on Thursday. I find it odd that the girl that barely passed highschool algebra is a financial manager. ha.
But.. I'm off. Time to wake up the kidlets and get them ready for school/day care. I'll update later if I hear anything at work.
