Exhausted...

We just got back from the Matsuri festival. Man I am beat though. We had a great time. We saw all kinds of the shows. My boy enjoyed seeing all the people dressed up like Anime or video game characters. They had a costume contest for anyone who came dressed up. We watched a pretty cool little Japanese punk rock band called Toybox. His idea, he is only five but very much a little rocker himself. He told me when he was three that he was born to be a rockstar or doctor. He is so funny. Then we went and saw my friend Esther. She is the owner instructor of the Taiko school that performed there. I met her about twelve years ago when we performed at Matsuri. I was doing a martial arts and sword demo.

Then of course we had all kinds of treats. He loves eel and potstickers.

Then with all that fuel he was jumpin all over the place like a crazed monkey.

and just like an unpredictable child that leaf was his favorite thing he got all day. I know what your thinking "o my what a nice leaf I wonder how much that set him back?" The answer: nothing! Hahaha I wish I knew that before I spent the money I didnt have on other stuff.

I even passed who I think was Thrasher and doolittle a couple of times. They were always going the other direction and what seemed like purpose behind their stride. I am also just shy meeting new people, didnt want to bother them.

Like I said it was totally fun. After I rest up this evening I think we shall go hiking at South Mountain in the morning! Hope everyone else is getting to have a great weekend too.
