All In All...
Today was a good day. It started out rough. The ex has had the last car I have that is about to get repo'd. I have been stranded here in Maricopa for awhile now. She was supposed to bring it over last night since her new man bought her a $40,000 Honda Pilot. Well she didn't. Then she was going to meet me at AZ Mills Mall with it and my son. She let it slip by accident when she was explaining to why she didn't bring the car last night that my baby boy had Monday off from school. My friend dropped me off there at 8:30 am, where I F-ING sat until 2:45 pm. She said she was having trouble with the other ex hubby (before me) and her new man missing his plane. WHATEVER!!!
I hate that I am still in love with her.
Oh well! I wasn't going to let that spoil what remaining time I had in the day with my boy. We went to the Zoo. One of his favorite places to go with his dadda. We got to pet the Rays and Mini Sharks, played at the play ground, eat and ride the carousel. We have a year round pass so sometimes we go just to see one animal or attraction. Then after the Zoo we went to Hike
at Papago Park again. He loves hiking. Then we went to Tempe Town Lake area. He just wanted to run all over like a maniac. We went and goofed around at the waterless water park and rolled down the grassy hills. By the way he loves everything and yes rolling down grassy hills are another one of those things. We did that for about an hour. Which I pose a question to those of you that live in the area. Are there any real grassy hills around here that I can let him loose on? I know if you have ever been to Tempe Lake area your going what grassy hills!?! What can I say he has a great imagination and makes the best of what he has. A lesson I could stand to learn from him. 
After all that it was time for dinner. He wanted sushi. THAT"S MY BOY! He loves seaweed and eel. I spent every last cent I had on him. It was all worth it. He is so appreciative. He is only five and I swear I could stand to learn so much from him. We went to Kabuki in the new Tempe Marketplace area. The waiter overheard me telling my boy that we couldn't get Green Tea ice cream do to the lack of money. Well next thing I knew he brought my baby a scoop of it on the house. If you met my boy you would want to do nothing but put a smile on his face, I don't know were he gets that charm from. Probably his mom. The sushi chef even carved him a swan out of a cucumber. Awesome experience there. 
I then needed to get him home before nine since he has school in the morn. 
Like I said at the beginning all in all it was a good day. Any time I get to spend with that Angel makes all the woes go away.
