Haha... that's so funny... one of the people I work with told me today that I was a really chill person to work with. It's amusing, because up until now I'm pretty sure he hated my guts. I have a tendency to provoke that kind of reaction in people for some reason. People think I'm a total ass until they know me for a while and start to figure me out. Hell, that's exactly what happened with most of what are now my best friends. I don't quite get that, though, because I try not to be an ass to people unless I have a damn good reason to. *shrug*

Fridays are quite possibly the worst days to work in the food service industry. I suppose it'd be Saturdays in the restaurant portion of the industry, but for the deli I work at, at least, it's Fridays. Made up two full racks of pizzas early on in my shift, and within two and a half hours they were all gone and I had to start making more as orders came in because I was always busy doing other stuff that I couldn't just make a batch of them. Wouldn't be too bad if it was Dominos and all we did was pizzas, but we're a full-fledged deli, so that's only about a tenth of what we do, if that. As beat as I am, though, I actually really like my job on days like these. The time goes by really quickly because there's no time to sit on your ass and think about what time it is, or really much of anything besides what you're doing.

Haha... so yes... you have all just gotten a glimpse of how ridiculously boring my life is. I'd talk about something besides for work, but at the moment that's about all I do.
