I've been to London and Holy Island with the college/uni - and it was awesome!
We went to London last Monday, to go visit all the galleries. Sadly I didn't bump into Christian Slater outside the National Portrait Gallery like I did last time I was in London, but oh well, it was still fun
We went to the National first, cos it was nearest
. There were some strange men dressed in gold suits on stilts dancing to Pink Floyd tunes, I'm still not really sure why, but it was entertaining none the less.
Then once we'd been there we headed off to the Tate Modern, where I saw the hugest crack I've ever seen.
The best thing about the trip was the Louise Bourgeois exhibition, you've gotta love crazy 95 year old French women, really, haven't you? Sadly I didn't take any pictures inside the exhibition itself, but there was one of her pieces outside the Tate Modern right next to the bridge.
Yep, that be a giant spider right there. Creepy as fuck.
Yesterday I headed off to Holy Island with my college buddies and OH MY GOD was it fucking freezing.
I had visions of me being found decades later perfectly preserved in a huge block of ice. Saying that, it really was our own faults heading off to Holy Island in January, but hey, I still had a fun time, and of course I took way too many pictures as always. So I've spoilered them, cos I'm nice like that.
And right now I'm taking a break from doing my painting, which has to be in at the end of next week!?!?! Theres no way I'm gonna finish it, coupled with a 2000 word essay which I haven't even thought about for days.
Someone come do my work for me? Please?
