So the blog overhaul is going exceptionally well. The new layout is changed, trouble-shot, and Widgetized. i should probably validate it and look at it on other browsers still. The domain name is purchased and propogated. This caused some trouble this morning as they switched it over night and I woke up with 3 redirects directing me from the admin-side of my CMS to a website that no longer exists. Brilliant. I'm going to start adding content over the next few weeks with a soft launch and then start actually pushing getting visitors and stuff beginning May 1. I'm so excited!
Today, I'm finishing up some reading, then going to class where I'm presenting my research on the Lebanese in Sierra Leone. It should go well. If anything, I'll talk too long because I like all of the stories. I also might try to snag Rosetta Stone from the library. I need to learn Spanish. And I figure $550 software I can get for free through the library is as good of a starting point as any.
I need more friends on SG. The ones I have are plenty entertaining but I need more content generated. Maybe this weekend I'll troll around for new people? In between writing like 4 final projects?
