The first ten minutes of the best movie ever made I think, John Cassavetes' "Love Streams." Everyone, women and men, should watch this film. The most honest, entertaining, and "life-affirming" (I hate using that term but couldn't think of another) film dealing with relations between men and women. Cassavetes had balls ... not because he was some tough guy or whatever ... but because the man would simply not give up on being a real human being. Being real - and not always being all serious about it as some think that's what "being real" means -is the same as believing in and acting out of love. Love for yourself and love for others. Enjoy. I can't say enough how great a movie this is and how important it is for folks to watch it. It's so damn good that if everyone on the planet not only watched it, all of it, but enjoyed it and understood it, the human race would be sooooooooooooooooo much fucking better off ...
