Coil were an amazing "band" or "group", which was basically two guys - John Balance and Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson (from Throbbing Gristle before Coil), from England, starting in 1983 and ending in 2004. Both Balance and Christopherson are now dead, so the band no longer exists. Their music and live performances are groundbreaking and never boring. Reznor named his current band How to Destroy Angels from one of their songs.
