The English group Coil - which no longer exists because the two guys who were essentially the band (John Balance, the singer, and Peter Christopherson, the genius behind the music, as he was mostly so for Throbbing Gristle, the infamous and brilliant first Industrial band) are now dead - has to be one of the best groups ever and most certainly one of the most over-looked. Since everyone loves wikipedia, I definitely like it, I thought it would be good to share wikipedia's bio:
