Awesome electronic duo, Tearist, are playing tonight at The Echo with some other bands. Show starts at 9:00pm. If you haven't heard of them before, check them out. And for all those that already like them but never seen them live, you have to see them live. The lead singer, Yasmine Kittles, is really and truly amazing on stage.
So for all those seeing this...

For anyone who sees this has Spotify, you may or may not know this but while the music is free to listen to, the artists get paid. Spotify does royalties through the money they receive in the ads and premium paid accounts. It all depends on how many people listen to your music. In order to get paid, people have to listen to your music...

For all the people out there who live in their own little arrested development emotional bubble thinking they can play clever little Hipster tricks on individuals like myself, I have this to tell you, dogshit eats its own. There is a charming spirituall violence to empty horrors clever trickster fucks receive in response to their actions.
On Sound Cloud I have only three tracks of electronic music and voice narration. The reason is that all 3 albums of mine are up on Spotify as well as Amazon and iTunes and other places. I would rather not simply hand out the work I spent a great deal of time on. Work which I would like to one day pay my bills with...

In relation to these tracks, thought some cool images would be nice. My first novel, E.I.E. (which stands for Eye I Eye, making reference to the Third Eye, located in the middle of our forehead in-between our two physical eyes), is a coming of age story. Instead of the usual coming-of-age morality and neat and tidy philosophizing, I wanted to explore a young man's true coming of age, how he becomes more than just "A Man" or a grown up, but how, through his adventures, both external and internal, he opens up his Third Eye, or as I like to call it and a few others, The Backwards Eye. Here are some pics I found on the internet last year that I thought were interesting:

I want to post a fairly large number of an excellent videos from YouTube of Bauhaus, Dali's Car (something Murphy did with Japan's Karn directly after Bauhaus broke up - very very good one shot album thing those two guys did), Peter Murphy's solo career, and also some super cool tracks Murphy did live with Reznor, Twiggy from MM and Atticus Ross, Reznor's right hand...

No problem whatsoever. One of the great joys in life is sharing things we enjoy with others.
I want all my friends to be my favorite friends ... I hate leaving beautiful girls out ... And it would be nice if I could have The Most Favorite (wait that's incorrect grammar) Or The Best Suicide Girl ... I have one ... but I'm gonna keep it a secret ... she knows who she is ...
I have a question for everyone that possibly no one will read. Should music be free? If so why? And if music should be free then shouldn't everything be free? If not why? What makes music be seen by most people as something "too pure for monetary transactions."? So the purer something is the person who created it is expected to not be financially supported,...

Do you create music as well?
chaosriddler:
Sorry if I don't make sense at times on this blog post ... I was half awake when I did this ...
The English group Coil - which no longer exists because the two guys who were essentially the band (John Balance, the singer, and Peter Christopherson, the genius behind the music, as he was mostly so for Throbbing Gristle, the infamous and brilliant first Industrial band) are now dead - has to be one of the best groups ever and most certainly one of the most...

Your welcome, Uvita. I love you, Beautiful. You are the best, my favorite Suicide Girl ...
Ok ok I gotta get off-line. I seriously could spend hours on SG but alas, I cannot. Here is a parting gift to my first day as a member of the world of Suicide Girls, a track by Coil who's title has a similarity to my pseudonym:
Coil. Chaostrophy.

Thanks. I appreciate the appreciation. Especially coming from you. You're beautiful and I love your style.
I'm a writer and I also create music. I don't call myself a musician because I am not. But I do create it by taking loops and messing around with it. I have published 3 books, two novels and one short story collection, and have put out 3 albums. The 3 albums correspond with the three books, as what I do is in each track...

Not sure how many peeps know this, but the name for Trent Reznor's band came from a track by one of the greatest bands ever, Coil. Here is the track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXojLUo8CpM

I have a feeling the link to the Coil piece won't work up there, so I'll place it here:
