Ow, my fuckin' head hurts. It's not just 'cause I'm tired, I don't think. I've woken up after six hours of sleep before and felt just fine. I just woke up after six hours of sleep and coughed up what felt like a couple tablespoons of snot, but upon reflection was maybe more like just a teaspoon. Yeah, I reflect on my snot. It's mine, I can do what I want with it. I feel like there's a midget in my skull squeezing my left eyeball and occasionally flicking at the right. Not good.

I can't believe it's been less than a month since Amelie and I left New York. We're both fucking miserable. The date for her visit keeps getting pushed back, which I know means her moving out of Miami is being pushed back, too. It's been a long month... I can't for the life of me recall how long it's been since school started back up. It feels like ages ago. I've got no concept of time (and if I were dramatic I'd say I've got no concept of anything, lately), and I feel like I'm just stumbling through life at the moment, just biding my time till she gets here for good. I can't deal with anything right now (except maybe more sleep). I can't believe I need her so badly. I'm not used to this. I don't want to get used to her not being around.
