What I is thankful for:
Amelie. She's smart, funny, bitter, cynical, cute, unoffendable. In other words, she's just like me. I'm glad she's let herself like me; I know how that is, because I'm the same way. She's made the last five months of my life so much easier. Yeah, I know. Sappy. Shush.
My family. They've always been so proud of me, even when I've screwed up. They make me want to try again, just a little bit harder. You couldn't ask for more supportive people than my mother and grandmother. And my mom cooks for me. You gotta like that, huh?
My friends. I can't say enough about them. They deal with my non-driving ass and make sure I'm where I need to be to have a good time. They don't think I'm crazy for liking "some internet girl." (Or as far as I know they don't.) They keep me rockin' 'n' rollin'.
My comic book collection. So many dead trees, so many hours of entertainment. A fair trade? I hope so. My room smells like an inkwell.
A warm place to sleep, and hot food to eat. 'Nuff said.
These are things I think about every day. Taking a day to think about them a little bit more, and to have some turkey... that's pretty cool. Hooray for turkey!
