I'm breaking down and watching Lord of the Rings tonight. One of my friends got the new super-deluxe DVD and we've all been invited to watch. I never saw it in the theater (never could get through the books, for that matter), but, y'know, it's free now. And lord knows I won't see my friends enough this weekend, what with all of us going to see Southern Culture on the Skids and the Thanksgiving dinner party Saturday. I guess this is to make up for not seeing anyone over the last three weeks. How terrible.
A month and a week till New York. Whoo-motherfucking-hoo, y'all. Got a lot to do between now and then, mostly school shit. Nothing I can't handle, I don't imagine. I've been doing well, now it's just a matter of wrapping shit up. I think meeting a wonderful girl in a wonderful city is a suitable reward for a semester well done.
