What a lovely day I've had. New Mary set, new Bill Hicks CDs, new (old) comics. And I got a Bill Hicks poster and other new (old) comics yesterday. Hooray for new (old) stuff.
Modern pop culture might have killed Bill Hicks if he hadn't died of cancer, I believe. As if five or six reincarnations of the New Kids on the Block wouldn't be enough, there's another Bush in office. I'm almost glad he's not around to see it.
I'm gonna repost this part from yesterday's journal entry, because I think it's so damned cool. Read it and be amazed by the animal kingdom all over again:
"The best thing I've learned in weeks: Some hyenas, when faced with the impenetrable hide of a dead elephant, have been known to crawl into the giant beast's anus and eat their way from the inside out.
