My mother informed me that DSL will finally be available here starting the first of the year. It's about fucking time. It's really wrong to hope for much of anything from the cable and phone systems around here. They suck so hard; I get a better tv signal with rabbit ears than I did with cable. And the phones aren't much better. I guess I should be glad they're going to offer it at all. And hope (uh-oh) it doesn't suck.

A trip to New York with Amelie and high-speed internet access... everything's coming up Milhouse! I mean, Monkey.

Except that one of my friends thinks I e-mailed her a virus. Not "it looks like you sent me a virus," but "you sent me a virus." Just slap me in the face, whydon'tcha? It had my e-mail address on it, though, so I suspect wherever it came from found it but not my name, which is on EVERYTHING I send in an address book. People that use Outlook don't seem to understand that not every e-mail client sends things and does shit without the user knowing about it. Hmph.

I know what I don't need to do while Amelie's sleeping: I don't need to poke around eBay for cheap comic books. Even if I can get a copy of Stewart the Rat for practically nothing... if I win the auction. Damn these people who don't offer Buy It Now.
