My mom and sister can't be in the same room without arguing. Shit, it's not even arguing anymore; it's yelling. I can't remember them ever getting along. Not ever. And I know there's nothing I can do about it. It's hard to think that the best thing for two people you love to do is never see or speak to each other again, but... maybe they meant it this time.

I'm itching to move out, but I need a degree and a job first. Being one of those pesky Gen X kids who wants everything right now, I don't feel like doing just ANYthing. Not that I want to be famous or rich, really; I just don't want to bump around from job to job for the next five to ten years. I'd like something stable that'll last a little while... you know, like being paid to sit around and look pretty.

I want Amelie up here so bad I can see, touch, hear, smell and taste it. I know my friends would treat her well. She'd have fun with them, and with me, for that matter. Like I told her, if they'll put up with me...
