Even better than that, if you can imagine, this means I get to go to New York City this winter to meet Amelie. Stay in a big, fancy, expensive hotel for nothing. Eat real deli food. Nerd it up in all the museums. Maybe see Phish on New Year's Eve at MSG. A whole week with the greatest girl in the entire world. I hope I don't burst before then.
Crappily, Amelie is in Tampa all this week, accompanying her grandmother who is having eye surgery. All this, and she's a wonderful granddaughter.
And, just like the last time she was out of town, I'm not allowed to miss her. Good thing I got my monthly comics fix shipped to me today. mmm, smell that ink.
