Gahh, what a week! On Monday a lab on the second floor of the chem building on campus , had a Pentane explosion (C5H12) which is can flash at room temperature. The grad student was sent to the hospital, and the building was evacuated. I missed my morning organic prep class, and my other cherm class ended after the quiz we took since our lecturer was going with the injured man to the hospital. Bah, I've probably got maybe 5 horus of sleep daily for the last 2 weeks. I just got back from a french group project that has been festering for the last month, spent four hours making a brochure for the exchange program in Dakar, Senegal. But, here as they say is where the plot thins,I get home to my roomates drunk (no surprise) and a message from my guard unit on the fridge, somethnig about IRAQ and something being optional. So thats what I get to go sleep about tonight
On a more positive note I'm really thinkign of getting lightning bolts on the outsides of each of my calves. Not sure on size or color scheme, ideas are welcomed. Hmm, other news, vodka tonics with lime make homework better and so does coffee, cloves and comfort food. Coffee maker is still MIA , have to hassle melitta. On the arousing curiosity tangent, I've managed to meet several new people electronically and physically. Heh, I wish i had time for more such pleasantries.
