I have seen the people who "want to keep a religous holiday from being in the face of people who don't believe that religion." I have just one thing to say, from a historian and archaeologist....
It wasn't originally a christian holiday jackasses. Jesus was born somewhere in June, not December...This was originally the Festival Of Lights, a Norse holiday to break up the long dark nights of winter. The Christmas tree with lights and ornaments, Santa Claus giving toys to kids, putting lights all over your house.....all from the Festival of Lights. So guess what? even the christians are actually celebrating another religion's holiday.
So just say Merry Christmas and stop being a dumbfuck.
