Time is absolutely rushing by... Almost December already! Hope everyone's starting to feel festive...
I've been in a bit of a weird, messy headspace lately. Lots of thoughts, doubts... Guessing I'm just not feeling very sure of myself at the moment. Worried and feeling pretty stuck and lost... I guess it doesn't help that of the possibly only two people I feel comfortable talking to, one is miles away at uni, and the other has enough on her plate to deal with as it is.
But whatever, I'll pull through. New year soon, new leaf and all that :') And I always have my remedies (even if they are only short-term):
Besides, phone calls off drunk friends at 3am are enough to cheer anyone up, I think.
The usual sketchbook stuff... I have a week off work next week, so I'm hoping to get some bigger paintings done, or at least started. With any luck, next blog post I'll have stuff that's a little more interesting to show, aha. :')
And it's always comforting to know that the rest of the world is never any less beautiful, no matter where you're stuck.
I'm off to Huddersfield for my friend's birthday party tonight... I'm anticipating many many Jello shots and much loss of dignity. Hope you guys all have a good weekend planned, and I guess I'll see you around! Til next time, SG!
