So I sent out for my transcripts to be mailed to me and I will be meeting with an advisement counselor next week @ BCC. I feel that it is necessary seeing as I am at that point in my life and sobriety where I want more for myself.
I celebrated 6 months clean and sober last week and worked on my 7th step with my sponsor over the weekend. I was told to say the 7th step prayer daily and try my best to get outside myself and learn humility by showing up for the next alcoholic who needs me. It's about God's will for me, not my own.
My weekend was pretty blah. It rained ALL weekend so I was in the rooms most of the time.
Evan leaves for Jersey on Thursday and for school in San Diego on August 18th. It's been great spending what little time we have with one another and were hanging out tonight for what I'm guessing is the last time.
It's sad to think I may never see or hear from him again but at least I was able to have met him---thanks MySpace!
