My mother and stepfather will be in town late tonight to drop off Scott's old Toyota to me.
They are driving from NJ and last I talked to them they were in NC.
I will see them all day tomorrow and tomorrow night. Scott will be teaching me how to drive stick shift tomorrow morning.
Althought he car is stick shift and has no AC I am so very grateful to my parents for their more than generous offer to give me the car.
The gifts that sobriety brings are beyond comprehension at times.

I'll graduate law school w/ 5 1/2 years clean. on day 1 i was fat and bloated and squating, and certainly not in college anymore. I've done things I couldn't even imagine at the time.
if there is nothing else it has taught me, it has made me fearless. There is nothing else that anyone could ever do to me that I couldn't do or haven't done to myself 10 times worse.
