News in my life, since I update about once every few months:
1.) I recently became an uncle. My sister had her baby and named her Ava Marie. She's absolutely beautiful. She was born at the perfect time, too. I was feeling so completely miserable due to stupid people in my life, and then she came. I thought to myself, you know what, this is so much better than everything else. Nothing else seemed to matter.
2.) School is kicking my ass. I have my advisor and I need to start research soon. But, I feel zero motivation to do anything nowadays. Especially since I recently bought a PS3. Thing is awesome.
3.) The same old drama continues to evolve in my life.
So, that's about it. I've been told my several people recently that I've been too pessimistic lately. I don't actually feel pessimistic. Maybe it's because I've decided that if I see a fire, I'm pouring gasoline on it. Figuratively, of course. Though... fires can be pretty hot. (I want to apologize for that horrible joke. I'm sorry.)
But, ya, things have been going fairly well. Except for some really fucked up people in my life.
For example, my ex-girlfriend deciding to tell me about all the guys she's slept with in the last year. That was sweet. And the best part is, she then proceeded to tell me that she wants to marry me. Why are people crazy? Oh well. It's good times, all around.
