Ugh, so I went over my finances for the next month, and I come up short. I even did that thing where you add the numbers in a different order to see if the outcome will be different, but it was the same number. I mean, who really needs heat and electricity, right?

I don't know why this surprises me. I knew this was going to happen. I had to buy a car in October, since my old one died (RIP Reliant K). I was fine for two months, but I knew it was going to be right about now that it screwed me, with the holiday shopping and what not. I did what I absolutely hate to do, and that was ask the parents to loan me some money. I debate the logic of continuing to go to school after graduation, when I'm so poor. I think it's going to be one of those holidays where I sell everything back. :-(

Heh, I remain optimistic, though. I'm sure it'll work out somehow. It usually does.

I am going to see my friend in Maryland this weekend. I'm pretty excited, since I haven't seen her since May.

Now, I think I'm going to start Proust's "In Search of Lost Time". It's something I've always wanted to read, and I think now might be the right time for that.
