Well...
I just got home. It's 1 am and our camping trip got cut short. My lovely wife had to get life flighted out after we had a really bad spill on an ATV. A stupid young A-Hole driving a big blue van descided to pass us on a corner, then proceeded to bump us and then again. Basically he rammed us into the side of the mountain. Her right leg was crushed, chunck taken out of her left leg and a small cut on her forehead. We were blessed to say the least. It could have been a lot worse. The dude got hauled off for felony DUI. It was not a good thing to hold you wifes (lower) leg and have it feel like jello and just fall limp. It was a serious compound fracture to both bones. My back looks like Jesus in the "Passion". And my right arm burns from being run over. I've got tire burn marks on my forearm. I'll be sore tomorrow. Already getting there. Went back to camp and packed up our stuff, one of my buddys drove me to the hospital and my other friend is driving my Blazer home tomorrow.
And all she wanted to do was go read a book by the river.
Now she has a rod running through her leg. Now she's really my bionic wife. She's such a trooper...and the best!!!!!
UPDATE..... 6/25/06 3 PM OUR TIME...
She is being transfered today at 4pm to a hospital that's closer to home. I can't wait to see her again and get her home!!!
New Update...6/29/06 1 PM Our Time...
I get to pick her up and bring her home today!!! I can't wait!!! Who wants to come keep her company while I go back to work next week. She won't be able to do much for quite awhile. I wish I could be her slave 24-7.
She's my queen, now I just need a couple of you fine maidens to come stand by her side to make this picture complete...
