all planets aligned for me tonight and I'm in the clouds again. my plan to play hard to get and stay away from yuppie chinese food (and my favorite waitress) was foolproof. until fate stepped in...

actually we were ending a wasted trip downtown to change out my monroe (still too red, I guess) when we happened to be at the same gas station. hubby called her over and we got to have our first real conversation.

don't you love those early conversations getting to know someone who you have a crush on??? I honestly don't remember much of what she said except for when she said

"Let me give you guys my phone number" and then the twinkle in her eye as she walked away and reminded me to "call her.....!!

So..naturally we had to go get some ice cream


He's so wonderful! I'm the luckiest girl in the whole world.
