I love the fall!!
The air is getting crisper and the colors are popping again. Sacramento summers have a way of bleaching the color out of much of the plant life (and people life) around here. I guess we're known as the "City of Trees" and in the fall our little city looks really nice. Plus...I get tons of leaves to start next year's compost pile.
Other reasons to love the fall are my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Went to a wedding last night, which got me reminiscing about our wedding. We had the privilege of getting married in Yosemite--many falls ago. Even got married at the little chapel in the valley...
Broke the bank and got the Duke's suite in the swanky Ahwahnee Hotel. We were so young. We brought a bunch of our friends (up the private elevator, of course) to our suite and drank Dom and smoked yummy greens. Decided to order room service and felt really silly when they looked at us like kids.
Not quite kids anymore, but I love Chalko even more today. Happy anniversary honey!!
