Been reading some of the more ancient blog posts of mine recently, those from the Dinosaur Times of my existence here (many even from before the Great Comet hit and the site began anew), and all I can say is... yeesh...

I certainly miss having that guy's looks, body, and hope for a brighter future, but be that guy again I would not.

@therustycheez, I've had the same thought. The desire to reach out, to apologize, to tell them I think about them from time to time and hope they're doing well and finding happiness, is a strong one... but in the end, who is this really for? If that's all I want to do, it isn't about reconnecting at all, but about personal closure, and if their wounds (if they have any) have already healed, what's the point in reopening them again?
