Do what you want 'cause a Pirate is free! You are a Pirate!

Got my Halloween costume for the upcoming Costume Party I'm going to all figured out. Might add a few more things, like additional bling, small outfit tweaks, and little embellishments (like incense coming from the skull, eye makeup, etc), but for the most part, I think I got it.

I just paid waaaay too much money for Halloween costume gear this year. I'll have to share pictures when all my stuff arrives.

I love Halloween costumes too, bad for my money lol

So once again, the condensation has returned to the windows of the bridge that leads from the parking lot to my work, and once again, the dick graffiti artist has been hard at work drawing dicks on all of them. I'm mildly impressed by the dick artist however, because for the first time, he's scribbled a vagina on one of the windows as well.

If...

A very good friend of mine is going to school in Germany, studying for her Masters. She is almost there, and just turned in her term paper for her previous quarter, one she's been working on tirelessly for almost a month straight. She didn't have anyone to celebrate with her, so she got a hold of me to share a beer with her, from half...

So my digital camera was broken for a long time, ruined by my old cat (who has, sadly, since passed on). Ordering some replacement parts, and cleaning it up, I got it to work for the first time in years, and decided to test it out. Of course, you know what that means, right?

Selfies, cat pics, and selfies with the cat!

.... and of

So apparently Seattle has a Meetup group all about cuddling, where people meet up, put on pajamas, and after some introductions and orientation from some facilitators about consensuality, personal comfort zones, and techniques on giving things like massages, cuddle and snuggle with each other in a non-sexual way. It has well over one thousand members.

I... don't know what to think of this.

liasworld:
Hahaha!! I think it's great! Everyone needs snuggles. And if you cannot get them from people you know and love.... at least there is a place you can go now and hopefully feel a little bit better and loved afterwards.
chadiousxvi:
@liasworld, as odd as I find the idea, I have to admit that it actually sounds quite tempting to me, for exactly those reasons

I'm glad to report that, upon looking in the mirror today, I found that I'm getting my sexy back. It's been a long time.

When I look good, I feel good. Granted, self esteem and confidence SHOULDN'T be tied to one's appearance, but with me, the two are tragically intertwined. Seeing myself looking handsome makes me feel great. Maybe... before I get old, I can...

I know I have few to no active friends here, most of them being people of yesteryear long since gone from the site, and the periodic people who come through these days since my recent activity mostly do so just to click the ❀ on whatever I post, and no more, but if anyone does actually read this, well...

It's late at night, and my...

@medusaw Lemon is a great smell! I'm keeping them short because SG won't let me put spaces between paragraphs, meaning everything will run on for DAYS if I tried answering every question in one sitting! So a few more questions answered... My favorite plant? A tough one, as I love so many. Let's see... I like admiring Nightshade whenever I find it (usually in the wild where I'm from, though I was surprised when I found it growing in people's gardens when I visited Denmark and Norway). Next season, I plan to grow a "Poison Garden" filled with the deadliest plants I can legally get away with, including Deadly Nightshade, Aconite (in the form of Monkshood and Wolf's Bane), Black Henbane, and several others. Eventually, I'd like to make some old-timey vials with cork and wax tops filled with a poison from each, and maybe even a small bottle of Nightshade wine from Nightshade berries. As to more normal plants, I've always been a fan of Hen and Chicks, especially the black and purple ones. They're neat looking, resilient, very low maintenance, and just kind of slowly spread on their own, making them the perfect outdoor ground cover for people with black thumbs. How about you? What are your favorite plants? :) As to anime, my disposition towards anime has never been high, and until recently, I sneered at it pretty vocally, but truth be told, I enjoy more anime than I typically let on. I absolutely LOVE One-Punch Man, Legend of the Galactic Heroes was pretty epic (if slow), and I've found shows like Watamote & Space Dandy fairly entertaining in their own ways. As to Berserk, my friends have been trying to get me to watch that one for years, swearing up and down that it's totally my thing, but as I don't share my house with a bunch of weebs who have Crunchyroll these days, it sort of makes it hard to get around to watching it by myself.

Ahaha, I know what you mean with spaces ... Only works on the first post somehow (and in groups, if I remember correctly). I fancy your garden plans and since I'm a little bit into botanics, I go nuts, whenever I find some english yew/taxus baccata next to a playground. If you know your way around the poisonous tree (and you're looking for a thrill), you can even make marmalade from the fruits, but make sure to leave the seeds out, otherwise you'd die. My favourite plants are under my skin, poppies and sunflowers. But I might have to add nightshades, in particular potatoes. Might have to add them to my tattoo collection. In case you don't know the history of the glorious potato, you should check it out. People were eating the potato fruit and you can imagine what happens, when you eat something nightshadish ... hehehe. My first anime was death note, then berserk. Can't decide which one I love more, even though Guts is my favourite character. I admire him deeply and learned some valuable lessons from him/his creator. I really hope you'll find the time to give it a shot!

So I find having goals set in stone helps me actualize them. As such, I'm thinking of scheduling another trip for sometime next year. If I get planning and scheduling done soon, it'll give me something to work towards.

So far, I'm thinking either one of two trips...

1) A summer trip beginning in Istanbul, Turkey, followed by a train ride through Bulgaria, with stops...

Found this big fella not long ago. I saw him buzzing around last night as well. I don't think he was doing all that hot, given that we could get right up to him to take pictures.

Though it's that time of the year where he's probably on his last legs, that he's been trapped inside for probably the last few days, and seemed fine...
