Late Night Wonderings of a Restless Mind

I know I have few to no active friends here, most of them being people of yesteryear long since gone from the site, and the periodic people who come through these days since my recent activity mostly do so just to click the ❤ on whatever I post, and no more, but if anyone does actually read this, well...

It's late at night, and my mind wonders through strange places and stranger emotions. I scramble to keep myself occupied, but all paths away from my current thoughts invariably lead back to where they began.

If you want to contribute a distraction for me, in any form, be it a song to listen to, a video you like, a question to ask of me, or even a pic to show off (for those of you who are trying to bring traffic to your sets), by all means, please contribute, I could use it at the moment.

@medusaw Lemon is a great smell! I'm keeping them short because SG won't let me put spaces between paragraphs, meaning everything will run on for DAYS if I tried answering every question in one sitting! So a few more questions answered... My favorite plant? A tough one, as I love so many. Let's see... I like admiring Nightshade whenever I find it (usually in the wild where I'm from, though I was surprised when I found it growing in people's gardens when I visited Denmark and Norway). Next season, I plan to grow a "Poison Garden" filled with the deadliest plants I can legally get away with, including Deadly Nightshade, Aconite (in the form of Monkshood and Wolf's Bane), Black Henbane, and several others. Eventually, I'd like to make some old-timey vials with cork and wax tops filled with a poison from each, and maybe even a small bottle of Nightshade wine from Nightshade berries. As to more normal plants, I've always been a fan of Hen and Chicks, especially the black and purple ones. They're neat looking, resilient, very low maintenance, and just kind of slowly spread on their own, making them the perfect outdoor ground cover for people with black thumbs. How about you? What are your favorite plants? :) As to anime, my disposition towards anime has never been high, and until recently, I sneered at it pretty vocally, but truth be told, I enjoy more anime than I typically let on. I absolutely LOVE One-Punch Man, Legend of the Galactic Heroes was pretty epic (if slow), and I've found shows like Watamote & Space Dandy fairly entertaining in their own ways. As to Berserk, my friends have been trying to get me to watch that one for years, swearing up and down that it's totally my thing, but as I don't share my house with a bunch of weebs who have Crunchyroll these days, it sort of makes it hard to get around to watching it by myself.

Ahaha, I know what you mean with spaces ... Only works on the first post somehow (and in groups, if I remember correctly). I fancy your garden plans and since I'm a little bit into botanics, I go nuts, whenever I find some english yew/taxus baccata next to a playground. If you know your way around the poisonous tree (and you're looking for a thrill), you can even make marmalade from the fruits, but make sure to leave the seeds out, otherwise you'd die. My favourite plants are under my skin, poppies and sunflowers. But I might have to add nightshades, in particular potatoes. Might have to add them to my tattoo collection. In case you don't know the history of the glorious potato, you should check it out. People were eating the potato fruit and you can imagine what happens, when you eat something nightshadish ... hehehe. My first anime was death note, then berserk. Can't decide which one I love more, even though Guts is my favourite character. I admire him deeply and learned some valuable lessons from him/his creator. I really hope you'll find the time to give it a shot!
