Well... Due to ongoing snow, my work is cancelled tonight. My job has NEVER cancelled in the entirety of my career over snow. Though they might excuse you if you couldn't show up, come hell or high water, they expect you to try and make it, so this is a fucking first.

I can't get out of my driveway tonight on account of the snow (which isn't actually terrible, but my city car isn't up to getting out of my own property apparently), so I walked to the local geek bar to have a drink instead.

Late Night musings after too much alcohol:

Who would we be as people, and where would our lives be, if we could say what we wanted to say to others, with complete honesty, and without hesitation?

For some reason, I still think I'd be falling asleep on my couch.

I shan't think of her when I'm awake...

...however in sleep I can't escape...

So, in the middle of sleep, I awake, and I suddenly know my New Year's Resolution.

Given I seldom accomplish my resolutions, it is one I am comfortable with failing, and from this point on, shall be my resolution year after year until I accomplish it.

My friend @kooza and I, along with the Krampus!

Went to a Krampus themed haunted house last night, complete with escape rooms, a beer garden, and even a small play about Saint Nicholas and the Krampus. All in all, a wonderful time :)

I wish we would've gotten more pictures, but maybe the next time.

Given I'm likely to be working eight days in a row when I go back to work tomorrow night, I made myself a reading list to keep myself occupied while I'm at home early in the morning after work with nothing to do. I've started two, and I'd like to finish at least one before the end of the year.
