Hi all,
Just thought i'd write a little blog about what I've been up to and what I will be up to.
I started the second year of my degree a couple of weeks ago, for those of you who don't know, I'm currently studying for a degree in illustration. Anyway, as expected, i'm already feeling way out of depth. I also feel a little bit lost, I don't know who I am as an artist. We are supposed to start bringing our own style into our work this year. However, I feel like i don't know what my style is anymore. I was so sure of how I wanted to do things before I started my degree. But now, well, its just gone. I really want to get some experience working in the industry at some point in the year as an intern. but I don't know where to start looking.
As well as already being swamped with uni work, I'm attempting to finish off my costumes for London Film & Comic Con and MCM London, just a couple little details but I don't see when I'm going to have the time. I'm still excited though, I'll be at the Hard Times Clothing Stall so if any of you are going, I'd love to meet you so come find me :) You may be wondering what I'm dressing up as, you may have seen little hints on here from my Instagram spam. Well, one of them is Tauriel from The Hobbit movie, and the other is Judge Death from the 2000AD/Judge Dredd comics. These are the 2 costumes that are close to being finished. I've also got plans to do a Thor costume and a Silent Hill Nurse, that's one is mostly just for Halloween. its terrifying and weirdly sexy at the same time. My Judge Death Costume will probably end up being my Halloween costume in the end, I don't mind that though because its awesome. I'm sorry but dressing up as a "Cat" for Halloween is pathetic. Try harder. and by try harder I don't mean "Zombie Cat".
I also have a brand new set hitting member review in about a week called "In Bed with Chad". I can't wait for you all to see it. I've also got a another waiting to go onto member review that I think you're going to love. You'll have to wait a few months for that though, damn that queue!! aha
I've also got a themed shoot that I've yet to submit. I adore it so much, and I hope you lovely lot do too.
