I am a HUGE fan of the Aliens franchise and your Ripley cosplay is on point. However I feel as though it is a crime against nature because that costume hides your amazing curves. You are one of my fav SG's. I'm just saying Ripley never looked as good as you :D

Dude, as an artist I totally and completely understand what you are talking about. I get into space where I feel like everything I draw or make just can't reach the standard in my head. I do want to say that I love your artwork, you are an excellent sketch artist and your foam armor looks great :) But I know what you're saying, it's how YOU feel about your work, right? Although I haven't found a real cure for it, whenever I get like this I try these things: Try a whole new method (Perhaps attempt a clay sculpt of some armor, then make a mold of it and cast in rubber!), Go on a long hike in a brand new location, and/or go to your perfect inspiration place (ie. A creepy old mansion, misty lake at night, beach on a sunny day, etc.), Take a total creative break (always a good one), try something else you haven't done (ie. write a short story, take some photos, scultpting, photoshop lessons, etc.) and if all else fails try something like Martial arts, wrestling, rock climbing or something real physical. It really helps get the frustrations out lol. Anyway, I think you're amazing and I hope this helps :) HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I recently found out that there are classes taught locally to me. I'd love to try out and work it into my workout regime. (Which at the moment just consists of gym and pilates)

Would any of you recommend it? I personally would love to learn some sort of self defence, always have. Then I can defend myself if my boyfriend decides to torture me...

I would also recomend it, it's good workout and you learn to protect yourself against most closeup threaths...   and it's amazing how easy it's to turn an attacker's weapon against himself :-)

@ecks980 I would not really consider boxing as self defence at all, yes nice to beat somebody up... but how would it help you against a knife or a gun to the head?   Krav Maga teach you to use the moment of surprise and disable an attacker.
