well, my myspace account got hacked and then deleted yesterday, which totally sucks because i was one of the first 2000 people to sign up so it was a high priority acct and such.

the fact that i feel this discombobulated about it probably means that i was too addicted to it anyway.

i really need to get out and meet more new people, i love making new friends! i am not, in the words of holden caulfield, "a crumby conversationalist"

also, i have decided i am going to bring back the men's hat as an item of formal dress. In other words, I am going to start wearing vintage hats from the 40s and 50s everytime i dress up!

it will probably just another thing i do (like getting a phd, working out constantly, dressing well, etc.) that secretly, in the back of my mind, is motivated by the thought "hmm, the chicks will dig it" that ends up being cool, and yet not being dug by chicks (sort of like me shaving with a straight razor (a straight razor with an inlaid devil on the handle nonetheless!)
