well,
the last few months have been a terrificly un-sexy blur. I started teaching college students here at harvard in political and moral philosophy, that was pretty fun (wearing a tie also apparently fooled them into thinking i am an 'authority figure'.
Then, I had to present my preliminary dissertation research to the history faculty (which went well). So now im ABD (all but dissertation). At the same time, im considering taking next year off to work a 'real' job at a law firm or something so i can actually make a living wage and put some money away.
So, for now, im working out, doing tons of work for this semester's teaching (one course= bioethics and the future of human nature, the other=medieval studies) and simultaneously applying for summer jobs in italy and getting a resume ready for a real job search.
