I figured I would let you guys know how he rest of my weekend went.
So after the mess on Friday I went back into my one clients to finish up the work I started the day before. So I get there around 3'ish. I get the new hard drive installed and everything is humming along great. So as I watch the hours tick by it starts getting abit late. Me and my wife are going out to the club and I hadn't showered or shaved yet and here it was 6:30 already. So I check on the server, 30% done!?! Oh man, this is going to take forEVER. So I decide that i will let it run its coarse and finish it up remotely sunday afternoon.
So We hit the club, have a great night and get home about 5:30 in the morning. I wake up to check on the server only to find that another hard drive failed or atleast thats what it said. So I drive back up there sunday and pick up 2 brand new drives just in case. I get there and swap all the drives out for the 2 new ones and then get it started.
The rest of it goes perfect. Took 6 hours to setup the drives and then another 6 to copy all 200+ gb of data over to the new drives.
Finally on Monday, everything is done and working perfect. Geez, I tell ya. I love technology all most as much as I hate it. I had 2 brand new drives die on me in 2 days, fucking retarted. After all is said and done I did 33 hours in 3 days, geez.. crazy.
Overall though, it was a great weekend. Had a ton of fun at the club and that more than made up for all the working.
All I know, I am going to try and hardest to not work at all this week
It's only Tuesday and I am already looking forward to the weekend.
On a side note, Savion Glover is coming to pittsburgh on my birthday. Man that guy is freaking awesome. I always had a thing for tap dancing, don't know why. So any of your cuties out there want to get straight to my heart, tap dance for me and I am all yours... lol.
